As we celebrate International Women’s Day, there is no better time to announce that we have closed the first tranche of €500,000 in funding for our package deal within just 3 months. With this achievement, we have taken a significant first step towards our goal of investing EUR 5 million in female founders within 2 years.

Amsterdam, 8 March 2024 —As we celebrate International Women’s Day, there is no better time to celebrate success. Joanna Invests, the platform for women to invest in female founders, is delighted to announce that it has reached the first tranche of €500,000 in funding within just 3 months. With this achievement, the company has taken a significant first step towards its goal of raising EUR 5 million to invest in female entrepreneurs within 2 years.

This remarkable accomplishment not only marks a milestone for our company, but also for the ongoing struggle for gender equality and the empowerment of women worldwide. To break financial barriers and create a more inclusive investment world, Joanna Invests introduced its unique package deal at the end of November. The company aims to lower the threshold for investing in startups and make it easy and accessible for a large group of women by asking for lower tickets than usual.

Two years after launch, Joanna Invests has already built a portfolio of 5 startups (We Are Eves, Quan, Peekabond, Ozarka, and tex.tracer) and a community of more than 400 people, 90% of whom are women. With the package deal, investors can participate from a minimum of EUR 10,000 and receive an investment in a portfolio of at least 5 diverse startups in one transaction.

Claire Tange, founder of Joanna Invests: “Since the start of Joanna Invests, we have been committed to making a difference in the lives of women everywhere. Achieving this milestone of €500,000 in funding within a short period of time demonstrates the strength of our shared goal and confidence in our mission. In the Netherlands alone, there are many female entrepreneurs looking for funding. "So we can't wait to invest in these strong women; the first deal is already on the table.”
